I am a Level 2 Sommelier with Sommelier Slovenia, a member of the World Sommelier Association, ASI. In addition, I have a WSET Level 2 Certificate in Wine. I have been involved in the world of wine and haute cuisine both as an amateur and a professional for almost 10 years. In addition to my training and masterclasses, I have gained experience as manager and head sommelier of Mama Marija and Milka restaurants. I am currently working in sales, distribution and training at Drinx.
Numerous trips to lesser-known regions, vineyards, distilleries and restaurants around the world have sparked my interest in discovering new combinations of flavours and aromas when pairing wine with food. I like to spend my evenings with good books, whiskies and cigars, or with a glass of good Riesling.
