Domen Demšar started his culinary career at the young age of 20, when he went to London, to successfully graduate at the prestigious Cordon Bleu School. His passion for cooking led him to the renowned restaurant The Ivy in the heart of London. After 1.5 years there, he honed his cooking skills as a member of the SOHO House Group, one of the largest restaurant chains in the world. As part of SOHO House, Domen spent a year at Cecconi's Italian Restaurant, and then another year at the chain's first member hotel, Babington House.
His eventual return to Slovenia has brought new challenges, as he is currently working at Hotel Bohinj and organizing pop-up culinary events in Bled. In addition, he is increasingly focusing on cooking for clients at home and for small groups. Internationally experienced and always up for a challenge, Domen Demšar is one of a kind in Slovenia.
